Overseas Koreans Hold Rallies and Demos to Observe Anniversary of Ferry Sewol Tragedy
Pyongyang, April 21 (KCNA) -- Overseas Koreans held rallies and demonstrations one year since the ferry Sewol disaster.

Koreans in the U.S. held a rally in front of the consulate general of south Korea in Los Angeles on April 16.

The participants in the rally deplored that 304 people met grievous deaths in the disaster, adding that although it is one year since the disaster, nobody knows how they died.

The participants expressed the determination to fight to the last with the bereaved families of the victims of the ferry disaster for probing the truth behind the disaster.

Koreans in Germany including students studying there held a rally at Brandenburg Gate of Berlin to honor the memory of the victims of the ferry disaster.

The organization of Koreans in Berlin which has been fighting for probing the truth behind the disaster in a statement condemned the unpopular action of the Park Geun Hye regime.

Koreans in London and Paris also staged demonstrations demanding a thorough probe into the truth behind the disaster.
