Kim Il Sung Praised in Foreign Countries
Pyongyang, April 20 (KCNA) -- Meetings, book and photo exhibitions and film shows took place in Sweden, Uganda and Nigeria between April 9 and 11 on the occasion of the birth anniversary of President Kim Il Sung.

Displayed at the venues of the events were photos dealing with the revolutionary career and undying feats of the President and revolutionary activities of Marshal Kim Jong Un.

Also on display were works of the peerlessly great persons of Mt. Paektu and books and photos introducing the struggle of the service personnel and people of the DPRK to win the final victory.

Films shown included a Korean film "Eternal Treasures in Praise of Sun".

The participants laid bouquets before the portraits of the smiling President and leader Kim Jong Il before paying highest tribute to them.

The chairman of the Sweden-Korea Friendship Association praised the President as the founding-father of socialist Korea and the distinguished leader who energetically steered the struggle of the progressive people for independence.

At the events in Uganda speakers lauded the President as the iron-willed commander who defeated the U.S. and Japanese imperialists in one generation and the world elder statesman who devoted his all to accomplishing the human cause of independence, adding that he will always be alive in the hearts of mankind.

The chairman of the Nigerian Group for the Study of the Juche Philosophy said that the tender-hearted image of the President as the father of the people will always be cherished in the hearts of progressive mankind.

Congratulatory messages to Kim Jong Un were adopted at the events held in Sweden and Nigeria.
