S. Korean Teachers Publish Declaration on Situation
Pyongyang, April 18 (KCNA) -- More than 17 000 teachers under the Teachers Union of south Korea held a press conference in Seoul on April 15, the one year since the ferry Sewol disaster, at which they published a declaration on the situation demanding the abolition of the "enforcement ordinance" related to the special law on the disaster and salvage of the ferry body.

In the declaration they said that the truth remains hidden with the ferry still buried in the sea and social reform is being made only to meet the interests of the capital quite contrary to the promise of the present chief executive.

They said that they would fight it out till they would build the world where man is respected.

All the teachers will launch actions to salvage the ferry, probe the truth and punish those responsible, they noted.

The chairman of the Teachers Union said that the teachers would pool their efforts to take the lead in the action to judge the Park regime in case their demand for the abolition of the "enforcement ordinance" and salvage of the ferry is not met.
