Hunger Strike Launched in S. Korea
Pyongyang, April 17 (KCNA) -- The south Korean Teachers Union held a press conference outside the building of the puppet National Assembly in Seoul on April 11 and staged an action of having their hair cut short and hunger strike for probing the truth about the April 16 tragedy, checking the retrogressive revision of pension for government employees, checking the moves for outlawing the teachers union, shattering the moves for retrogressive revision of the labor market structure and winning the victory in the April 24 general strike, according to Chamsesang, an internet paper of south Korea.

The chairman, senior vice-chairman of the teachers union and chiefs of the 16 city and provincial branches had their hair cut short in protest against the puppet authorities' retrogressive revision of pension for government employees.

The chairman of the union declared in a speech they would launch the April 24 action to win the basic labor right and have public pension increased.

The chief of the Seoul branch also declared they would stage actions till the present regime steps down.

Chiefs of other branches said they would stage actions to make the world where the 99 percent of the people become masters in protest against the regime keen to gratify the greed of one percent of the population.

The chairman of the Confederation of Trade Unions in a speech of solidarity called for probing the truth about ferry Sewol disaster through actions and putting an end to the tyranny of the Park Geun Hye regime.

The teachers union in a press release clarified the will to intensify the above-said actions.
