Kim Il Sung's Exploits Praised by Foreign Papers
Pyongyang, April 9 (KCNA) -- Foreign papers featured articles illustrated with a portrait of smiling President Kim Il Sung and photos showing his revolutionary activities from Mar. 25 to April 1 on the occasion of his birth anniversary.

The Mongolian paper Ulan Batarin Sonin said in the preface of an article:

The august name of the President, the father of socialist Korea, is shining as a symbol of victory in the struggle for national liberation against imperialists and the cause of independence.

He embarked upon the road of revolution in his teens and founded the Juche idea and the Songun idea.

He liberated Korea by waging the arduous anti-Japanese armed struggle, beat back the U.S. imperialists' aggression and defended the sovereignty of the country.

He set a shining example in the struggle for accomplishing the popular masses' cause of independence by wisely leading the post-war rehabilitation and construction and social revolutions of various stages.

He dedicated himself to national reunification from the very day the country was divided by the U.S. imperialists.

The paper of DR Congo La Prosperite in an article titled "Eternal leader of progressive mankind" said the President made an undying contribution to the cause of global independence.

The Cambodian paper Kmae Amata in an article titled "Whole life devoted to country and its people" said the President dedicated himself to the country and its people.

The FM 90.5 Radio and the Apsara TV and Radio of Cambodia in their programs on April 1 and 2 praised his patriotic life.
