Kim Jong Un Sends Birthday Spread to Former Unconverted Long-term Prisoner
Pyongyang, April 8 (KCNA) -- It is the 90th birthday of Sok Yong Hwa, a former unconverted long-term prisoner and an indomitable pro-reunification patriotic fighter.

Supreme leader Kim Jong Un sent a birthday spread to him Wednesday.

Sok, who was born in a tenant family in Ryangsan City, South Kyongsang Province, embarked upon the road for national reunification, deeply revering President Kim Il Sung who built a new country of the people after the liberation of Korea.

He was arrested by the enemies while fighting to repulse aggressors in the Fatherland Liberation War but kept his revolutionary faith and obligation as a genuine fighter of the party and the leader.

Leader Kim Jong Il saw to it that he was brought back to the fold of the DPRK and awarded a watch bearing the august name of the President, the title of DPRK Hero, National Reunification Prize and other high state commendations.

Kim Jong Un puts him forward before the country and the people the way the great leaders did, and is taking warm care of him and his family.
