Rodong Sinmun Denounces Japan for Working Hard to Evade Responsibility for Past Crimes
Pyongyang, April 8 (KCNA) -- Shortly ago, Bosworth, former U.S. ambassador to south Korea, said that as the German government made a frank apology for the wrongdoings after the Second World War, the issue of past crimes no longer become a stumbling block in the relations with the European countries. And he urged the present chief executive of Japan to make an honest reparation and apology for the past history.

Foreign media, commenting on Germany that created an example of the liquation of the past in the European region, urged Japan to follow the former.

Rodong Sinmun Wednesday in a commentary says that this is an advice the international community gives to Japan which is working hard to evade the responsibility for the past crimes.

Germany and Japan are the war criminal states which massacred innocent people by the most brutal and heinous methods after getting engrossed in aggression against different countries in the first half of the 20th century. Germany has made efforts to relieve victimized countries of pain and redeem its crimes even a bit.

But Japan has behaved quite contrary.

Japan's rulers have never made sincere apology for the past crimes but totally denied them.

It has incurred suspicion and hatred, not trust and respect of many countries. It's because Japan's morality and conscience are very vulgar.

If Japan does not follow the example of Germany, it will suffer only insult and isolation.
