Day of Sun to Be Celebrated in South Africa

| Pyongyang, April 8 (KCNA) -- A preparatory committee for celebrating the birth anniversary of President Kim Il Sung (the Day of the Sun) was formed with due ceremony in a city of Gauteng Province, South Africa on March 31. Displayed in the venue of the ceremony was a portrait of smiling Kim Il Sung. The ceremony declared the formation of the preparatory committee and announced its action program. The preparatory committee decided to organize diverse political and cultural events such as meeting, seminar, film show and photo exhibition in the capital city and local areas on the occasion of the Day of the Sun. |
