They included meetings, book and photo exhibitions and film shows in Myanmar, Iceland, Romania and Nigeria.

On display at the venues of the events were photos dealing with exploits performed by the President, leader Kim Jong Il and Marshal Kim Jong Un.

Their works and photos and books introducing the true picture of Songun Korea were also on display.

Films shown included Korean film "Okryu Children's Hospital."

Tin Tin Moe, member of the Executive Committee of the Yangon Regional Committee of the Union Solidarity and Development Party of Myanmar, praised the President as a prominent leader who founded the man-centered Juche idea, liberated Korea, turned the DPRK into a socialist power and performed undying exploits for accomplishing the human cause of independence.

Jon Arni Halldorsson, general secretary of the Iceland-DPRK Friendship and Cultural Society, said the President actively supported and encouraged the peoples of various countries in their efforts for independence against imperialism and the building of new society, adding the exploits performed by him before the times and humankind would shine forever.

A Nigerian official said the great idea and exploits of the President are serving as an immortal banner and engine for leading the Korean people to victories.
