Reinvestigation into Cheonan Warship Sinking Case Demanded by Swiss Organizations

Pyongyang, April 6 (KCNA) -- The Switzerland-Korea Committee and the Swiss Group for the Study of the Juche Idea made public a joint statement on March 25 in support of the statement of a spokesman for the Policy Department of the DPRK National Defence Commission which re-clarified the principled stand of the DPRK on the Cheonan warship sinking case and the "May 24 step" taken by the south Korean regime under its pretext.

The joint statement said:

If the south Korean authorities truly want to see improved inter-Korean relations, they should lift the unreasonable "May 24 step" and immediately respond to the DPRK's call for reinvestigating the case.

The Switzerland-Korea Committee and the Swiss Group for the Study of the Juche Idea actively support the statement of the spokesman for the Policy Department of the DPRK National Defence Commission and join the Korean friends in demanding the south Korean regime lift the "May 24 step" at once and immediately reinvestigate the Cheonan case.
