Regional Body Censures THAAD Deployment in S. Korea
Pyongyang, April 5 (KCNA) -- The Afro-Asian People's Solidarity Organization released a statement on Mar. 31 denouncing the U.S. moves to deploy THAAD in south Korea.

The U.S., trumpeting about "threat" from missiles of the DPRK more noisily than ever before, openly revealed its ulterior design to introduce THAAD into south Korea.

The U.S., by deploying THAAD in south Korea, is seeking to round off preparations for a preemptive attack on the DPRK and create favorable conditions to contain the strategic rivals China and Russia, pursuant to its strategy for dominating the world.

The projected deployment of THAAD is also prompted by its strategic purpose to form U.S.-Japan-south Korea alliance, the Asian-version NATO and round off a global missile defence network at any cost.

In case THAAD is deployed in south Korea, it will establish a new Cold War structure in Northeast Asia and the Korean peninsula will be exposed to the increased danger of being reduced to a theatre of war by big powers.

The Afro-Asia People's Solidarity Organization vehemently denounces the U.S. moves to deploy THAAD in south Korea at any cost.

We urge the U.S. and the south Korean authorities to think twice.
