Kim Il Sung's Exploits Praised by Foreign Figures
Pyongyang, April 3 (KCNA) -- Events were held in different countries on March 27 and 28 on the occasion of the birth anniversary of President Kim Il Sung.

They included meetings, photo and book exhibitions and film shows in Bangladesh, Myanmar and Romania.

Displayed at the venues of the events were photos dealing with the revolutionary career of the President and his exploits.

Also on display there were photos and books introducing Songun Korea.

Films shown included Korean film "Fireworks of a Thriving Nation".

Garib Newaz, president of the Bangladesh People's League, in his report said:

President Kim Il Sung opened up a new era of Juche Korea with his profound ideologies and theories and great revolutionary practice after embarking on the road of the revolution in his early years and performed immortal exploits in the history of struggle for human emancipation.

He turned the DPRK into a socialist power with firm political, military and economic foothold.

He poured his heart and soul into realizing the cause of global independence and sincerely supported other countries and nations in their anti-imperialist struggle and cause of building new society all his life.

The director of an institute of Myanmar in a speech noted that the President devoted his all to the prosperity of the country, happiness of the people and peace and security of the world.

He went on:

The great exploits of the President will be kept forever in the hearts of not only the Korean people but also progressive mankind.

The desire of the President is being successfully realized by supreme leader Kim Jong Un.

The DPRK is further demonstrating its might under his leadership.

Daniel Dediu, chairman of the Romanian Workers' Association, highly praised the President for defeating the U.S. and Japanese imperialists and building the DPRK as a socialist power independent in politics, self-supporting in economy and self-reliant in national defence.
