Joint Survey of Migratory Birds to Be Launched in DPRK
Pyongyang, April 2 (KCNA) -- The Nature Conservation Union of Korea is planning to make a joint survey of migratory birds with Miranda Naturalists Trust of New Zealand.

The survey will be launched in May, according to the agreement signed between two sides in Juche 103 (2014).

An official concerned said that the survey will be carried out in the areas of Nampho and Onchon.

The Miranda Naturalists Trust of New Zealand is going to confirm the migration course of Calidris Camupus which is at a crisis throughout the world.

In April 2009, the Miranda trust made a survey of Calidris tenuirostris, Ardea cinerea and other migratory birds in the DPRK.
