THAAD to be deployed by the U.S. in south Korea at any cost is a very dangerous factor of extremely escalating the tension on the Korean peninsula and in its vicinity, the statement said.

The U.S. seeks to deploy THAAD in south Korea to prepare a preemptive attack on the DPRK and use it as a means to contain Russia and China, its strategic rivals, it noted.

The deployment of THAAD is directly linked with the U.S. strategic aim to tighten its domination over south Korea and round off the formation of a military alliance of NATO style in Northeast Asia, it said.
