Land Management Brisk in DPRK
Pyongyang, March 30 (KCNA) -- Land management is gaining momentum in different parts of the DPRK.

Pyongyang City is meticulously organizing the work to repair roads, bridges, dwelling houses and public buildings and put sewage networks in good condition.

Districts and counties along Taedong and Pothong rivers have paid big efforts to dredging rivers and repairing embankments.

A large number of good species of trees has been planted in streets, villages, compounds and campuses.

Jagang Province began repairing roads between Wiwon and Manpho and between Wiwon and Kanggye. And Wiwon County has built retaining walls reaching several thousand meters.

Yodok and other counties in Hamgyong Province are pushing ahead with the construction of several bridges.

North Hamgyong Province is also pushing forward spring land management while planting many trees along rivers and streams.

Taedong County in South Phyongan Province, too, has worked hard to repair embankments and dredge rivers.
