U.S.-S. Korea Joint Military Drills under Fire in Africa
Pyongyang, March 26 (KCNA) -- The African Regional Committee for the Study of the Juche Idea released a statement on March 19 in protest against Key Resolve and Foal Eagle joint war exercises of the U.S. imperialists and the south Korean puppet forces.

The statement said:

The situation on the Korean peninsula is inching close to the brink of a war due to Key Resolve and Foal Eagle kicked off by the U.S. and the south Korean puppet forces, disturbers of peace.

The DPRK, as it did in the past, has made all its efforts to achieve the independent and peaceful reunification of the country.

However, the U.S. and the south Korean puppet forces are escalating tension by ceaselessly staging war drills targeting the DPRK despite the world progressives' protest and condemnation.

The African Regional Committee for the Study of the Juche Idea vehemently denounces the saber-rattling threatening peace and security on the Korean peninsula and in other parts of Northeast Asia.

We strongly urge the U.S. to roll back its anachronistic hostile policy toward the DPRK and stop at once the reckless war drills.
