The U.S. bellicose forces are trying to make the story of "threat" sound plausible while spreading their own prediction that the DPRK will possess 100 nuclear weapons in a few years to come despite their previous blustering that they cannot recognize the DPRK as a nuclear weapons state.

An article of Rodong Sinmun Wednesday notes that it is the height of shamelessness and impudence that the nuclear war maniacs and hideous nuclear criminals are vociferating about "threat" from the DPRK.

Had they approached the DPRK's peace efforts with sincerity and stopped pursuing their hostile policy toward the DPRK and moves for a war of aggression, tension would have been defused and a bright prospect opened for ensuring peace on the Korean peninsula, the article says, and goes on:

But the peace proposals made by the DPRK have not been realized and the situation on the peninsula has been deteriorated with each passing day. This is entirely attributable to the U.S. which does not want detente and peace on the peninsula.

The U.S. warmongers have described the madcap joint military exercises in south Korea as "defensive" and "legitimate" for decades but this is nothing but sophism.

The U.S.-south Korea joint military exercises are clearly targeted against the DPRK.

The warmongers contend they have no alternative but to hold military drills, while vociferating about the fictitious "threats" from the DPRK.

However, they should bear in mind that they are sadly mistaken if they calculate they can solve any problem through military threats.

They should clearly know that their reckless nuclear war moves will bring them nothing but a final ruin.
