DPRK Adopts New Regulations for Environment Law
Pyongyang, March 24 (KCNA) -- The DPRK recently announced new regulations for the enforcement of Law on the Protection of Environment to replace the existing regulations adopted in Juche 100 (2011).

The newly-adopted regulations are aimed to strictly enforce the DPRK's Law on the Protection of Environment in order to spruce up the country's mountains and rivers, promote the people's health and provide them with hygienic and cultured life environment and better working conditions.

The regulations, consisting of 59 articles in 4 chapters, deal with the principles to be adhered to in the protection of environment and the matters arising in preserving and creating natural environment, preventing environmental pollution in advance and tightening the control over the environmental protection.
