Alexander Fedosov, deputy prime minister of the Khabarovsk Territory Administration who is chairman of the Russia-Korea Friendship Association of Khabarovsk Territory, was elected chairman of the preparatory committee.

The preparatory committee decided to hold multifarious political and cultural events praising the sacred revolutionary career and undying feats of Kim Il Sung on the occasion of the Day of the Sun.
