S. Korean Puppet Authorities' Submission to U.S. Ridiculed
Pyongyang, March 23 (KCNA) -- High-ranking officials of south Korea including its chief executive vied with each other to visit U.S. ambassador Lippert, gesture of flattery, and they made much fuss over the knife attack on him, terming it "attack" on the south Korea-U.S. "alliance". These disgusting behaviors caused derision and criticism among people.

Rodong Sinmun Monday observes in a commentary in this regard: The puppet conservative forces' servile acts greatly hurt the national dignity of the south Koreans. They aroused skepticism, discontent and strong rebuff to the "alliance."

It is sheer sophism for the south Korean regime to talk about "alliance" as it has its sovereignty completely usurped by the U.S.

The above-said "alliance" originated from the U.S. forces' presence in south Korea.

Keeping south Korea tightly bound to the "alliance," the U.S. has lorded it over for decades, perpetrating all sorts of arbitrary acts and forcing its people to undergo untold humiliation, misfortune, pain and disaster under the jackboots of GIs.

Equal status and rights between south Korea and the U.S. are unimaginable under such situation.

After the emergence of the present puppet conservative regime in south Korea, the shameful nature of south Korea-U.S. "alliance" has been brought into bolder relief.

The puppet forces offered their all for the tightened "alliance", kowtowing to the U.S., which only brought them shame, humiliation and cold shoulder.

They should lend ear to the angry shout of people that "alliance with the U.S. which puts its interests above those of the popular masses is intolerable".

However zealous the puppet conservative regime may get in its sycophancy toward the U.S., it will only spark off stronger anti-American sentiment among the south Koreans, concludes the commentary.
