Birth Anniversary of Kim Il Sung to Be Honored in Syria

| Pyongyang, March 23 (KCNA) -- A preparatory committee of the Socialist Unionist Party of Syria for celebrating the birth anniversary of President Kim Il Sung was formed on March 12. Adnan Ismail, general secretary of the party, was elected chairman of the preparatory committee. He said that HE Kim Il Sung is the most prominent great man in the 20th century, revered by the world. Noting that it is the duty to celebrate his birth anniversary together with the Korean people, he expressed the will to hold diverse events on the occasion of the birth anniversary. |
