Abrogation of Evil Law on Human Rights Demanded in S. Korea
Pyongyang, March 19 (KCNA) -- The south Korean puppet Jonju District Court held a trial of Rev. Han Sang Ryol, a pro-reunification champion, on March 16 on charge of the violation of the draconian "law on supervision for public peace", according to Chamsesang, an internet paper of south Korea.

The puppet security authorities threw him behind bars on charges of the violation of the "Security Law" for the mere reason that he visited the DPRK in 2010 without permission. After his release they rearrested him in August last year, claiming that he did not inform police of his movements, subject to supervision for public peace. But they set him free under the public pressure.

The puppet prosecution indicted him without detention in December last year and finally held a trial of him.

The Catholic Priests' Council for Justice, the North Jolla Provincial Solidarity for Peace and Human Rights and other civic and public organizations in the province held a press conference outside the Jonju District Court building.

Speakers at the press conference said that the "law on supervision for public peace" is an evil law which copied the "order for the probation of Korean political offenders" enforced by the Japanese imperialists.

They demanded the repeal of the fascist law for suppressing people's thoughts and abusing human rights.
