Present there were Kim Sung Du, chairman of the Education Commission who doubles as chairman of the Korean Committee for Solidarity with Cuba, So Ho Won, vice-chairman of the Korean Committee for Cultural Relations with Foreign Countries, and members of the committee.

Cuban Ambassador to the DPRK German Hermin Ferras Alvarez and his embassy officials were present there.

The meeting reviewed the work done by the committee over the past one year to boost the friendship and solidarity with the fraternal Cuban people in their dynamic struggle to protect the sovereignty of the country and socialist gains under the leadership of the Communist Party of Cuba. It discussed a working plan for this year.
