The student's campaign to last untill September 12 is sponsored by "We will not tolerate Japan's distortion of history! The Liaison Council of Korean Students in Japan". It is part of the work to mark the 70th anniversary of the Union of Korean Students in Japan.

Present at the meeting were members of the union in different parts of Japan, Koreans in Japan and Japanese students and personages.

It heard testimonies by bereaved families of victims to indict the Japanese imperialists for their forcible drafting of Koreans.

Speakers denounced the ultra-right forces for their wrong understanding and groundless distortion of history as evidenced by their justification of Japan's past history of aggression.

There took place a drama staged by members of the Union of Korean Students in Japan clearly showing the horrible massacres of Koreans by the Japanese imperialists and the blood-stained history that can neither be justified nor concealed.

An action program was read out at the meeting to vow to carry on the struggle in different parts of Japan in protest against the distortion of history.
