Day of Sun to Be Commemorated in Romania

| Pyongyang, March 16 (KCNA) -- A Romanian national preparatory committee for celebrating the birth anniversary of President Kim Il Sung (the Day of the Sun) was inaugurated on March 10. Vasile Orleanu, chairman of the Supreme Council of the Socialist Party of Romania, was elected chairman of the preparatory committee. The committee decided to hold diverse political and cultural events including a meeting, seminar, lecture and photo exhibition to praise the sacred revolutionary career and exploits of the President from March 20 to April 15. |
