S. Korean Bodies Slam Reckless Remarks of U.S. Undersecretary of State for Political Affairs

Pyongyang, March 13 (KCNA) -- The People for Achieving Peace and Reunification and civic and social organizations of south Korea held a press conference before the U.S. embassy in Seoul on March 4. They denounced the reckless remarks made by the U.S. undersecretary of State for Political Affairs shielding Japan's past war crimes.

His remarks are rubbing salt into the wounds of south Koreans and fanning up Japan's moves to revive militarism, they said, adding:

This reveals the U.S. intention to use Japan for realizing its ambition for domination.

They urged the U.S. to make apology for his outbursts.
