S. Korean Authorities Accused of Their Racket to Eliminate "Forces Following North"

Pyongyang, March 13 (KCNA) -- The Solidarity for Democracy, People's Life, Peaceful Reunification and Sovereignty, the Association for Supporting Prisoners of Conscience of the Family Movement for Realizing Democracy and other civic and social organizations of south Korea held a press conference before the puppet Seoul Central District Court on March 9 denouncing the authorities' racket for eliminating the "forces following the north", according to the south Korean internet newspaper Jaju Ilbo.

Kim Jun Song, room chief of the solidarity, said that the prosecution's indictment against Hwang Son, representative of the Forum for the Study of Politics Desired, is peppered with sheer lies.

Kwon O Hon, honorary chairman of the association, said that just was the speech made by Hwang Son though the prosecution takes issue with it because she called for putting an end to national division and achieving reunification.

Yun Ki Jin, co-chairman of the solidarity, deplored that pro-U.S. and pro-Japanese acts are bringing the south Korean society to ruin.

He urged the present regime to stop racket for eliminating the "forces following the north."

A letter of protest demanding Hwang's release was read out.

It is infringement upon freedom of expression to punish anyone who tells what one saw, heard and felt oneself by labeling it "appraisal of the north," the letter noted.
