The second vice-minister of the puppet Foreign Affairs let loose a spate of such groundless remarks as "inhabitants' life as human beings" and "concrete and sincere measure" in a bid to create impression that there are any problems in the DPRK. He cried out for "close cooperation" with international organizations for improving "human rights of the north" and "necessary support".

He also pretended to be interested in the humanitarian issues between the north and the south, talking about "confirmation of whereabouts of divided families between the south and the north" and "regular reunion."

Rodong Sinmun Tuesday in a commentary terms this sheer sophism of those who have turned south Korea into a mayhem under the fascist rule and the worst tundra of human rights in the world.

It goes on:

The DPRK will never pardon the south Korean authorities busy with the anti-DPRK smear campaign over the non-existent "human rights issue of the north," while shelving unpardonable human rights abuses of their U.S. master and those committed by them.

If they are sincerely interested in the settlement of humanitarian issue between the north and the south, they should stop the war drills against the north kicked off together with outside forces to sour the atmosphere of dialogue and cooperation.

No matter how noisily they talk about humanitarian cooperation, shunning the saber-rattling, they can neither win sympathy from public at home and abroad nor evade the responsibility for the acts of standing in the way of reunions of divided families and relatives.

If they persist in their anti-DPRK smear campaign, backed by outside forces despite repeated warnings of the DPRK, they will have to pay dearly for acts of treachery.
