Kim Il Sung's Exploits Lauded by Figures of Benin
Pyongyang, March 10 (KCNA) -- Figures of Benin lauded the exploits of President Kim Il Sung at an inaugural ceremony of a Beninese national preparatory committee for celebrating his 103rd birth anniversary.

At the inaugural ceremony on March 4, Hessou Kohovi, chairman of the Benin National Committee for the Study of the Juche Idea who doubles as chairman of the Benin-Korea Amicable Association "Long Live Kim Jong Il, Supreme Leader", said:

The progressives are highly praising the President, founder of socialist Korea, as the eternal sun of Juche.

The President founded the Juche idea and thus provided the eternal guiding idea in the era of independence.

The President who embarked upon the road of revolution in his early years founded the Juche idea at the historic Kalun Meeting and indicated the path to be followed by the Korean revolution, based on it.

Thanks to the founding of the Juche idea, a new era of history, the era of independence has opened in which the popular masses, who had been subject to the vicissitude of history, thinking they are destined to be slaves, are independently and creatively exploring the path of the times and revolution as the master of the world and their own destiny.

Pascal Zouncheme, chief of the Benin Group for the Study of Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism, praised the President as the closest comrade and friend of the world revolutionaries and the progressive people.

He referred to the fact that the President met a lot of foreign personages of various circles and gave them clear answers to the matters arising in the revolution and construction and rendered positive help to the African people in their struggle for the independence of the country and building of a new society.

He stressed that President who explored the independence era and devoted his all to the victorious advance of the cause of human independence will be alive in the hearts of the people aspiring after independence.
