British Organizations Denounce U.S.-S. Korea Joint Military Drills

Pyongyang, March 9 (KCNA) -- The British Association for the Study of Songun Policy, the British Group for the Study of the Juche Idea and the Korean Friendship Association UK made public a joint statement on March 2 in denunciation of the adventurous Key Resolve and Foal Eagle joint military drills of the U.S. imperialists and south Korean warmongers.

The joint military exercises are aimed at bringing down the Korean socialist system and reducing the DPRK to a colony, the joint statement said, and went on:

The military drills are very dangerous as they are staged at a time when the U.S. imperialists' anti-DPRK "human rights" racket has become evermore pronounced.

It would be a big mistake for the U.S. and south Korean puppet forces to think they can bring the DPRK to their knees with pressure and blackmail.

A spokesman for the General Staff of the Korean People's Army in a statement expressed the DPRK's will not to remain an onlooker to the dangerous war moves of the U.S. imperialists and their followers.

We support the decisive and revolutionary stand of the DPRK and call upon the world peace-loving forces to extend full solidarity to the heroic struggle of the Korean people against the U.S. imperialists' aggression moves.

The joint statement demanded an immediate stop to the aggressive Key Resolve and Foal Eagle joint military drills.
