The regime connived at leaflet scattering operations deteriorating the inter-Korean relations and increasing the danger of a war while claiming they are the "freedom of expression", and brought charges against the paper which lived up to the media mission for the south-north reconciliation and peace against war, it held, adding:

The act of shutting down the progressive paper will meet stern judgment of history.
