Settlement of Issue of Sexual Slavery for Imperial Japanese Army Demanded in S. Korea
Pyongyang, March 4 (KCNA) -- The Taejon Citizens Committee for Promoting Construction of Girl's Statue for Peace in south Korea held a meeting in Taejon on March 1 at which it called for settling the issue of sexual slavery for the Imperial Japanese Army, according to Thongil News, an internet paper of south Korea.

At the meeting speakers said the girl's statue was erected in Taejon to indict Japan for its hair-raising sexual slavery.

The statue reflects the will of people of all social standings of the city not to allow the past history in which human rights were violated due to war and violence to repeat itself but to force Japan make an apology and reparation for its past crimes, they noted.

The Park Geun Hye regime is shunning Japan's evermore serious distortion of history and paying no attention to the solution of the issue of sexual slavery for the Imperial Japanese Army, they deplored. They called for fighting to have the issue of the sexual slavery settled and build a peaceful world free from war.
