The New Delhi Times in an article titled "Wishes of leader Kim Jong Il" on Feb. 12 noted:

Kim Jong Il once said his greatest wish is to make the Korean people well-off.

He devotedly worked to translate it into a reality.

He visited anywhere people work and live.

To build a thriving socialist nation where everything goes well backed by strong national power and its people are well-off -- this was the goal set by him to realize his wish.

He found his pleasure in the louder happy laughter of the people.

Another paper in an article titled "Into core of single-minded unity" noted:

Kim Jong Il, regarding the single-minded unity as the mainstay of the revolution, firmly consolidated the single-minded unity of the Korean society with the army as its core under the banner of Songun.

Thanks to him, the warmest and truest relations of love and belief were made between the supreme commander and his soldiers, and the Korean People's Army was prepared as a pillar and main force of the Korean society for carrying out the socialist cause.

No force on earth can break the unity.
