Rodong Sinmun Monday says in a commentary that this action brought to light the true colors of the puppet authorities as a group of traitors to the nation and the fascist junta opposed to the compatriots and the country's reunification.

It goes on:

Jaju Minbo is the patriotic paper which has steered the struggle for social progress, reunification and patriotism, setting it as its righteous objective to "establish proper national spirit and aspire after reunification" over the past 15 years since its foundation.

The paper has only called for justice and truth, reunification and patriotism on behalf of the public mind-set.

Just and praiseworthy were its activities as it took the lead in asserting the nation's unity and reunification and disclosing and censuring confrontational actions against reunification.

We cannot but take a serious note of the fact that the forcible closing of Jaju Minbo is part of the sinister intention of the conservative ruling forces to prolong their dictatorial rule.

The puppet authorities are making desperate efforts to tide over their evermore deepening ruling crisis by suppressing progressive forces active for improving the inter-Korean relations and achieving the independent reunification against the dictatorial rule, including the South Headquarters of the Pan-national Alliance for Korea's Reunification, the Teachers Union and the Unified Progressive Party.

The action taken to forcibly ban Jaju Minbo is part of this desperate campaign.

They committed a mediaeval brutal act of forcibly shutting down the legitimate paper for the mere reason that it advocated truth in the 21st century. This is shame on human civilization.

The south Korean puppet forces, the world's worst human rights abusers and ferocious destroyers of civilization, had better stop talking about inviolable human rights.
