Meeting for Solidarity with Korean People Held in Benin
Pyongyang, March 2 (KCNA) -- A meeting for solidarity with the Korean people took place in Cotonou on Feb. 21.

It was attended by personages of Benin-Korea Amicable Association "Long Live Kim Jong Il, Supreme Leader", Benin National Committee for the Study of the Juche Idea, Benin Group for the Study of Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism and the Cotonou Institute of Journalism of Benin and citizens.

Hessou Kohovi, chairman of the Benin National Committee for the Study of the Juche Idea, condemned the tortures committed by the CIA systematically in a premeditated way with the approval of the U.S. president and under his patronage.

He referred to the crimes of GIs in south Korea during and after the Korean War and said that it is the U.S. that should be in the dock.

Pascal Zouncheme, chief of the Benin Group for the Study of Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism who is rector of the Cotonou Institute of Journalism of Benin, said that the U.S. made no scruple of overthrowing the governments of progressive countries and committing acts of terrorism against politicians and the assassination of them under the pretext of "protecting human rights", and added that the overthrow of governments of Latin-American countries and all sorts of terrorist acts there were committed by the U.S.

All the wars unleashed by the U.S. under the pretext of the "protection of human rights" were bloody wars to conquer other countries, he said, adding that the U.S. is committing military interference in internal affairs of independent countries and slaughtering those peoples behind the curtain of the "protection of human rights".

At the end of the meeting the participants in the meeting watched a Korean film "Provoker of the Korean War".
