A starting ceremony took place before the Monument to the Victorious Battle of Pochonbo in Hyesan City, Ryanggang Province Sunday.

The participants laid a floral basket and bouquets before the statue of President Kim Il Sung at the monument and paid tribute.

At the historic land where the Battle of Pochonbo was organized by him, they made a bow to his statue in humble reverence.

Being briefed on the Pochonbo Revolutionary Battle Site, they went round the command post of the Battle of Pochonbo, post office, sub-county office, fire station, the then police post of the Japanese imperialists, etc.

That day they looked round the Spring Site in Poso-ri and the proposition monument in the Tableland of Junghung which are associated with the revolutionary feats of leader Kim Jong Il who firmly defended and glorified the purity of the revolutionary traditions of Mt. Paektu. They headed for the secret camp on Mt. Paektu.
