Kim Jong Il, Kim Jong Un Praised by Russian, Malaysian Papers
Pyongyang, February 26 (KCNA) -- Russian and Malaysian papers carried special write-ups on the occasion of the birth anniversary of leader Kim Jong Il (the Day of the Shining Star).

The Russian paper Priamurka on Feb. 11 carried an article titled "Immortal exploits performed for peace" illustrated with a portrait of smiling Kim Jong Il.

The paper introduced facts that he displayed rare grit and pluck as a brilliant commander in military confrontation with the U.S. imperialists such as armed spy ship Pueblo case, large spy plane EC-121 case and Panmunjom incident.

Recalling that he frustrated the U.S. imperialists' nuclear war moves by dint of Songun, the paper noted the feats he performed for the cause of global peace would always be remembered by mankind.

The Feb. 4-10 issue of the Russian paper Pravda Primoriya carried articles titled "Future of DPRK is bright and rosy" and sub-titled "Characteristic of Kim Jong Un's politics" illustrated with photos documenting revolutionary activities of Marshal Kim Jong Un.

The paper elaborated on his wise leadership, noting that his politics is based on his firm decision and faith and unpredictable elaborateness and profound thinking.

The Malaysian Guang Ming Daily on Feb. 9 edited an article titled "The Day of the Shining Star in the DPRK" accompanied with a portrait of smiling Kim Jong Il and photos of Kimjongilia and his birthplace in the Paektusan Secret Camp.

The paper praised the feats he performed by leading the party and his Songun leadership exploits, noting that he dedicated his whole life to carrying forward the idea and cause of President Kim Il Sung.
