Fishing for 2015 Begins in West Sea of Korea
Pyongyang, February 24 (KCNA) -- Various fishery stations in the west coastal area of the DPRK set out on fishing for this year on February 23.

They included the Hanchon Fishery Station under the South Phyongan Provincial Fishery Management Bureau.

When interviewed by KCNA, Ro Kwang Nam, manager of the station, said:

"My station began fishing for this year about 30 days earlier than last year, in hearty response to supreme leader Kim Jong Un's call for catching more fish.

All the fishermen are now in high spirits to carry out the station's fishing assignment for this year, twice as much as that of last year, ahead of schedule."

Meanwhile, tens of angle fishing net boats belonging to the Mundok, Kamapho, Unjon and Jongju fishery stations, too, sailed out toward fishing grounds.

Those fishery stations in the west coastal area of the country have concentrated efforts on putting their fishing boats on a modern basis and establishing a well-ordered marine commanding system.

All their employees are filled with a firm resolve to catch more fish by keeping the sea occupied all the year round.
