Minju Joson Slams S. Korean Authorities for Trumpeting about "Dialogue"
Pyongyang, February 24 (KCNA) -- Not content with floating rumor that the north-south dialogue has not taken place because the north is not "open-minded", the south Korean puppet regime has gone the lengths of making the disgusting remarks that "the north's attitude cannot be construed otherwise than its lack of will to negotiate."

Minju Joson on Tuesday observes in a commentary in this regard:

The dialogue between the north and the south failed to take place and a vicious cycle of confrontation has persisted due to the U.S. anachronistic hostile policy towards the DPRK and the south Korean authorities keen to escalate the confrontation with the fellow countrymen in the north, pursuant to the U.S. line.

The U.S. became a laughing stock of the world due to the hacking at the Sony Pictures Entertainment but the south Korean authorities have kept mum about this.

On the contrary, the south Korean regime is intensifying its moves to escalate the confrontation with the compatriots in the north, echoing the U.S. outbursts that it is necessary to bring down the DPRK and it would hurl more aggressor forces into Key Resolve and Foal Eagle joint military exercises than before.

The situation has reached such pass that the south Korean authorities are set to make a more retrogressive revision of the draconian "Security Law" by branding the south Korean people urging them to stop the moves to block the improvement of the north-south relations in pursuance of the U.S. policy, cancel the "May 24 steps" and check the scattering of anti-DPRK leaflets as "followers of the north."

Whether the north-south dialogue takes place or not and whether the north-south relations will be improved or not entirely depends on the south Korean authorities' policy switchover.

If they are truly concerned for dialogue, they should resolutely break with the U.S., the sworn enemy of the Korean nation, roll back the confrontational policy to hurt the fellow countrymen, stop making remarks to mislead the public opinion and take practical measures to improve the inter-Korean relations.
