Celebrations Take Place at DPRK Missions Abroad
Pyongyang, February 23 (KCNA) -- Celebrations took place at the DPRK missions overseas from Feb. 12 to 15 to mark the birth anniversary of leader Kim Jong Il. They included receptions, book and photo exhibitions, round-table talks and film shows at the DPRK missions in Thailand, Myanmar, Iran, India, Nepal, Bangladesh, Bulgaria, Britain, France, Peru, Brazil, Mexico, Egypt, Equatorial Guinea, Ethiopia, Senegal and Algeria and the DPRK permanent mission in the UN.

Displayed at the venues of the events were photos documenting the immortal exploits of President Kim Il Sung, Kim Jong Il and Marshal Kim Jong Un.

Also on display there were works of the peerlessly great men of Mt. Paektu and books and photos introducing the service personnel and people of the DPRK who are accelerating the final victory of the Juche revolution in the revolutionary spirit of Paektu.

Films shown included Korean films "Arms of Korea" and "Fireworks of a Thriving Nation."

Present at the events on invitation were personages of governments, political parties, military, organizations and institutions of relevant countries, representatives of international and regional bodies and NGOs, foreign diplomats and members of organizations for friendship and solidarity with the Korean people and organizations for the study of the Juche idea.
