Japan's Official Apology for Sexual Slavery Demanded in S. Korea
Pyongyang, February 22 (KCNA) -- The 1 166th Wednesday meeting demanding the settlement of the issue of the sexual slavery for the Imperial Japanese Army took place in front of the Japanese embassy in Seoul, according to a south Korean internet paper.

Speakers at the meeting slammed Japan for evading an official apology and legal reparation for its past crimes though 70 years have passed since Japan's defeat.

They condemned the Japanese government for working hard to delete the description about the forcible drafting of Korean women as sexual slaves in a U.S. history textbook.

This is an insult not only to the victims but also to those who have made efforts to seek the settlement of their issue.

They demanded the Japanese government, a war criminal state, make an official apology for the sexual slavery.
