S. Korean Body Blasts S. Korean Provincial Governor's Pro-Japanese Remarks
Pyongyang, February 22 (KCNA) -- The Council for the Solution of the Issue of the Volunteers Corps in south Korea on Feb. 12 issued a statement condemning the pro-Japanese reckless remarks made by the governor of Kyonggi Province, south Korea.

The statement accused Nam Kyong Phil, governor of the province, of what he said on Feb. 10, when meeting with the Japanese prime minister. Nam behaved so meanly as to beg the Japanese prime minister to reconsider the "issue of civilian fund," it noted, and continued:

It is an act of treachery to make the sexual slavery a scapegoat to please Japan under the present situation. It is intolerable for Nam to cry out for improving the relations with Japan keen to rub salt in the wounds of the victims of the sexual slavery.

The statement urged Nam to behave properly, well aware of what the victims want.
