DPRK Book, Photo Exhibitions Held in Foreign Countries
Pyongyang, February 17 (KCNA) -- DPRK book and photo exhibitions took place in the Czech Republic, Uganda and Nigeria between February 7 and 10 on the occasion of the birth anniversary of leader Kim Jong Il.

Displayed at the venues of the exhibitions were photos showing revolutionary exploits of Kim Jong Il and Marshal Kim Jong Un.

Exhibited there were their works, and books and photos introducing successes made by the service personnel and people of the DPRK in building a thriving socialist nation and the time-honored history and tradition of the Korean nation.

The first vice-chairman of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Czech and Moravia said that the exhibition will help visitors have better understanding of the exploits Kim Jong Il performed for the Korean revolution and the cause of global independence and successes made by the Korean people in the struggle for building a thriving socialist nation and improving the people's standard of living under the leadership of Kim Jong Un who is successfully carrying forward the cause of Kim Jong Il.

The acting chairperson and the acting executive secretary of the Ugandan National Women's Council and other speakers lauded Kim Jong Il as a world political elder who devoted all his life to the Korean revolution, the cause of socialism and the cause of global independence and a peerless strategist who turned socialist Korea into an invincible political and military power through his Songun revolutionary leadership.
