The members of the delegations laid floral baskets before the portraits of smiling President Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il and paid a tribute to them.

Tin Tin Moe, member of the Executive Committee of the Yangon Regional Committee of the Union Solidarity and Development Party of Myanmar, said that his party members look back upon the immortal feats Kim Jong Il performed for the Korean people's happiness and prosperity and the cause of global independence on the occasion of the significant Day of the Shining Star.

Kim Jong Il's idea and cause are being successfully carried forward by respected HE Kim Jong Un, he said, adding:

The Korean people have achieved astonishing successes in building a thriving socialist nation and bolstering up the defence capability under his wise leadership.

The party is convinced that the Workers' Party of Korea and the Korean people will build a thriving nation and achieve the cause of Korea's reunification without fail under the leadership of Kim Jong Un.
