Kim Il Sung Square centering on the bank of the River Taedong where the Tower of the Juche Idea stands, Mansu Hill, Okryu Bridge and other parts of Pyongyang were crowded with people from all walks of life, school youth and children waiting for the fireworks gala.

To the tune of Song "The General Will Live Forever as the Sun" fireworks were displayed in the nocturnal sky of Pyongyang.
