Minju Joson Blasts S. Korean Authorities' Moves against DPRK
Pyongyang, February 15 (KCNA) -- After the Committee for the Peaceful Reunification of Korea made public a special statement Wednesday warning the south Korean authorities that their persistent servitude to the U.S. will bring the most miserable end to them, the south Korean authorities talked rubbish.

They said the north's assertion was distorted and one-sided bluster, calling for instant stop to the north's armed threat.

They went so far as to bluff that they would resolutely counter the north's possible provocation.

Commenting on these remarks, Minju Joson Sunday says that this is a criminal act against the aspiration and desire of the Korean nation for the independent reunification by putting an end to outsiders' domination and interference.

The commentary goes on:

The Democratic People's Republic of Korea advanced a proposal to remove the danger of war, ease the tension and create a peaceful climate on the Korean peninsula at the beginning of the new year and took practical steps on its own initiative.

Nevertheless, the north-south relations are getting worse and worse contrary to the Koreans' aspiration and desire and both the north and the south have not yet created elementary climate for holding a dialogue.

The south Korean authorities are to blame for making coarse remarks and running amuck with the confrontation moves and nuclear war drills against the north in league with the U.S. from the outset of the year.

Confrontation leads to war.

Firing of a bullet can plunge the Korean nation into the nuclear holocaust.

If the south Korean authorities ignite a war in collusion with the U.S., not only the U.S. mainland but other bases of the aggressors will be blown up by the DPRK's unimaginable and merciless strikes. It is the firm will of the servicepersons and people of the DPRK.

The U.S. and the south Korean authorities had better mind their behavior.
