Kimjongilia, DPRK Photo, Book and Handicraft Exhibition Opens in Russia
Pyongyang, February 15 (KCNA) -- A Kimjongilia, DPRK photo, book and handicraft exhibition opened in Nakhodka, Russia on Feb. 9 on the occasion of the birth anniversary of leader Kim Jong Il.

Displayed in the front wall of the exhibition were portraits of smiling President Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il.

Immortal Kimjongilias were on display.

Also displayed were photos documenting the revolutionary career and feats of Kim Jong Il, works of the peerlessly great men of Mt. Paektu, photos and books introducing Songun Korea and handicrafts associated with the wisdom and talents of the Korean people.

Dutov, vice-major of Nakhodka city, said:

Kim Jong Il's life was characterized by his warm love for the country and the people.

He dedicated his all to the peaceful reunification of Korea and the peace and stability on the Korean peninsula.

He made great contribution to the development of friendly relations between Russia and the DPRK.

We will make all efforts to develop the relations with the DPRK.

Zelenov, first secretary of the Nakhodka City Committee of the Maritime Territorial Committee of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation, expressed his resolution to make positive contribution to further developing the friendly and cooperative relations between the two countries this year marking the 70th anniversaries of the victory in the patriotic war of Russia and Korea's liberation.

The exhibition will last until on Feb. 20.
