She was born as the fourth daughter of a tenant in Kowon County, South Hamgyong Province on Feb. 13, Juche 4 (1915). She experienced bitter sorrow as a member of the stateless nation, barely eking out living by doing needlework and laundry for others, subject to oppression and maltreatment by the Japanese imperialists and the exploiting class.

It was not until President Kim Il Sung liberated the country that she could lead a worthwhile life. She brought up her sons and daughters well so that they stood guard over the motherland.

She leads an optimistic life, having a balanced diet.

She told her children to work harder to firmly defend the grateful socialist system generation after generation.
