DPRK Photo, Book and Handicraft Exhibitions Open in Different Countries
Pyongyang, February 14 (KCNA) -- DPRK photo, book and handicraft exhibitions opened in Brazil, Mexico and Peru on Feb. 4 and 5 on the occasion of the birth anniversary of leader Kim Jong Il.

Displayed at the venues of the exhibitions were photos dealing with undying feats of Kim Jong Il and Marshal Kim Jong Un.

Also on display were works of the peerlessly great men of Mt. Paektu, photos and books introducing Songun Korea and handiworks associated with the wisdom and skills of Koreans.

Officials of a city office of Brazil praised Kim Jong Il for wisely leading the struggle to defend socialism and the drive to build a thriving nation and devoting himself to the people's happiness.

The general secretary of the Central Committee of the People's Socialist Party of Mexico lauded Kim Jong Il as the great leader and tender-hearted father who devoted himself to the people's happiness and the building of a thriving socialist nation till the last moments of his life.

The secretary general of the Peru-Korea Institute of Culture and Friendship said that Kim Jong Il devoted himself to the country and its people and global independence, performing feats which will shine forever with the century.

The exhibition will offer the Peruvian people an opportunity to know better about the greatness and feats of Kim Jong Il, the long-standing history of Korea and the heroic fighting spirit, wisdom and skills of the Korean people, the secretary general added.
