A seminar took place in Romania, meeting, photo exhibition and film show in South Africa and meeting and book exhibition in Ecuador on Feb. 8 and 9.

Displayed at the venues of the events were photos documenting the undying feats of President Kim Il Sung, Kim Jong Il and Marshal Kim Jong Un.

Also on display were works of the peerlessly great men of Mt. Paektu and photos and books introducing the Korean people building a thriving nation.

Films shown included Korean film "Okryu Children's Hospital".

Daniel Dediu, chairman of the Romanian Workers' Association, praised Kim Jong Il as the tender-hearted leader of the people who devoted everything to the happiness of the people and the reunification of the country.

A secretary of a regional committee of the Gauteng Provincial Committee of the South African Communist Party noted that Kim Jong Il defended the sovereignty of the country and the nation from the enemies' moves for aggression by dint of Songun and bolstered up the defence capability in every way.

Julio Ballesteros Espin, chairman of the Guaranda Association for Friendship, Culture and Solidarity with the Korean People of Ecuador, said that the Korean people would always win victory in the struggle for building a thriving nation and reunifying the country under the leadership of Kim Jong Un.

Congratulatory messages to Kim Jong Un were adopted at the events in Romania and South Africa.
